Students will find that the training provided in restaurant management programs is crafted for students interested in developing their skills in applying complex business theories and practices to various restaurant and hospitality situations. Primary courses will be taught in business communication, staff management, purchasing procedure, sanitation and facilities maintenance. Additional coursework will be available in wine service protocol, business law and banquet planning and beverage management. Graduates of an MBA program in restaurant enterprise management will become armed with not only the skills of the trade, but with the ability to solve problems specific to restaurants and hospitality. How long it takes to complete an MBA program will vary by the individual student, whether or not courses are taken full or part time, and the learning institution itself.
