Massachusetts, also known as the Bay State, has a population of 6,593,587. It has grown by 3.9 percent in the last 10 years. Boston is the state capital. In 2008, there were a total of 4,251,139 jobs and at $50,897, the average annual income in Massachusetts was higher than the previous year's per capita figure of $49,644. Brokers, portfolio management, control instruments manufacturing and nautical system manufacturing are the top employing fields in Massachusetts.

While being known for many things, one of the most noteworthy, Massachusetts holds the two largest cites in New England, Boston, the largest, and Worcester. One of the unique tidbits about Massachusetts is The Boston University Bridge on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston is the only place in the world where a boat can sail under a train driving under a car driving under an airplane.

Real estate brokers should be able to articulate ideas and problems and listen to and understand others in meetings.

In order to be successful in the workplace, real estate brokers must be thorough and dependable and be reliable.
