The education and job opportunities are plentiful for project managers in Delaware. For project managers in Delaware, the job pool is currently 4,180 and climbing. A one percent bump in the number of jobs is projected to put the figure at 4,500 by 2016. This is above a steady national projection. State figures show that project managers in Delaware earn $60 per hour or $125,000 per year on average. In the U.S. as a whole, their income is $52 hourly or $107,000 per year on average.

Delaware, nicknamed the First State, has seen its population grow 13.0 percent to 885,122 over the last decade. The capital is Dover. In 2008, the total number of jobs was 553,149 and the average annual income in Delaware was $40,375, which is up from $39,932 the previous year. Unemployment increased to 8.1 percent in 2009, a jump of 3.2 percentage points from the previous year. The number of residents with a college degree is 25.0 percent, which is under the national average.

In Delaware, the top employers are in nondurable goods merchant wholesalers, management of companies, management of companies and offices of other holding companies.

One of the many things Delaware is known for, Rehoboth Beach is the state's largest coastal resort town. Methodists who purchase the land for a summer camp and meeting place originally constructed it. Delaware has many unique characteristics, but one fun fact in particular is Delaware is the only state without any National Park System units such as national parks, seashores, historic sites, battlefields, memorials, and monuments.
