While working, they furnish employees with data related to policies, duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and benefits. Also, they administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems.

They are required to direct the development of teams and individuals with the aim of problem solving and task completion and listen well to others and take in their information and issues.

Human relations managers should be able to listen to and understand others in meetings and understand what others are saying to them even in a noisy environment.

In order to be successful in the workplace, human relations managers must have exceptional integrity and be able to take change and lead.
