Figures show 750 jobs for controllers in Vermont and according to national projections, the job pool will rise by seven percent over the next 10 years. Controllers conduct research, prepare reports and formulate plans to aid in solution of economic problems arising from production and distribution of goods and services.

The income for controllers is $51 per hour or $105,000 per year on average in Vermont. Nationally, their income is $53 hourly or $110,000 per year on average.

Home to 621,760 people, Vermont, known as Green Mountain State, has grown by 2.1 percent in the last 10 years. The capital is Montpelier. In 2008, the total number of jobs was 434,917 and the average annual income in Vermont was $38,700, which is up from $37,735 the previous year.
