There are plenty of job and employment prospects for controllers in Hawaii. Figures show 2,290 jobs for controllers in Hawaii and the job pool is projected to rise by seven percent over the next 10 years nationally. In general, controllers conduct research, prepare reports and formulate plans to aid in solution of economic problems arising from production and distribution of goods and services.

In Hawaii, the income for controllers is $40 per hour or $83,000 per year. In the U.S. as a whole, their income is $53 hourly or $110,000 per year on average.
